Celebrating True Courage
Celebrate the inspiring journeys of this year's recipients straight from your living room
The Courage To Come Back TV Show!
ONCE AGAIN WE'LL BE BRINGING THE INSPIRING AND COURAGEOUS STORIES OF OUR FIVE RECIPIENTS STRAIGHT TO YOUR LIVING ROOM WITH A One Hour COMMERCIAL-FREE TELEVISION SHOW AIRING ON GLOBAL BC AND vancouver.CityNews.ca ON MAY 14th at 4.30pm
Co-hosted by Olympian, former Vancouver Canuck goaltender, and mental health advocate Corey Hirsch, and CityNews Vancouver’s Crystal Laderas, the show will allow us to reach millions of viewers in their homes including, we hope, you and your loved ones.
We’ll be celebrating the inspiring journeys of our five recipients, each of whom have overcome extraordinary adversity to come back, and who give back to their community.
You’ll also be able to see your dollars hard at work with stories from the front lines at Coast Mental Health, as we raise critical funds for people living with mental illness here in BC.
Every year, Coast Mental Health Foundation celebrates the stories of five British Columbians who have overcome extraordinary adversity to come back and give back to their communities. The Awards also raise critical funds to support people living with mental illness in BC.
We are incredibly grateful to the outstanding leadership of Lorne Segal O.B.C., D.Litt.(Hon.), LLD. (Hon.) and the overwhelming support of donors, partners and sponsors. We look forward to celebrating Coast Mental Health's 24th Courage To Come Back Awards presented by Wheaton Precious Metals.

“As chair of the Courage To Come Back Awards, reading through the hundreds of nominations we receive every year is a moment I look forward to with great anticipation. All of them are true journeys of bravery, resilience and strength in the face of adversity. I am grateful to those that have the courage to share their stories with us.
Choosing the final Recipients is always a difficult task, but I know that their stories will leave us all inspired and optimistic, in a time where we all need a dose of courage”.
