The purpose of the Awards is to pay tribute to those who have overcome overwhelming challenges. These individuals deserved to be recognized and to celebrate their contributions to our communities. This recognition goes along way to encouraging these individuals to continue their efforts as role models for others.
At Coast Mental Health, we know that with the right supports, people can over come seemingly insurmountable challenges, build better lives and contribute meaningfully to our communities.
The Courage To Come Back Awards are given in five categories:
- Mental Health
- Physical Rehabilitation
Each award recipient shares their own courageous story of triumph over adversity, making it clear that it is not the challenge itself but the way one responds to it that defines success.
